The Man Behind It

About the Author

Cole Harlan is a pen name, and that's intentional, so don't bother searching for it. This isn't about building a personal brand around a face or a resume. I'm not trying to be your new hero. It's about the work.

I'm not a guru, a life coach, or someone who's got it all figured out. For a good chunk of my life, I was stuck in the exact place this brand exists to pull men out of, reading every self-help book I could find, nodding along to podcasts, absorbing advice, and doing almost nothing with any of it. Analysis paralysis dressed up as self-improvement. I knew more than most people about how to fix my life and somehow still couldn't get it right.

What changed wasn't a new framework or a better routine. It was deciding to stop consuming and start moving, even before I felt ready, even before I had it all figured out.

Kill the Drifter exists for guys in that same spot, not because I've arrived somewhere and I'm reporting back from the mountaintop, but because I've lived the drift in finances, health, purpose, and marriage, and I'm still actively steering out of it. This isn't a victory lap. It's a working record of a man who decided that showing up mattered more than having the perfect plan.

If you're looking for polish, credentials, or someone pretending they've never dropped the ball, this probably isn't your guy. If you want someone who's willing to be honest about where he's failed and what actually moved the needle, you're in the right place.

Kill the Drifter. Own Your Path.
